BHM Black Elegancia Qualifies Dressage of the Stars.

BHM Black Elegancia has qualified for the 2009 4yr old Dressage of the Stars to be held in Victoria in March 2009.
Elli as she is known placed 11th against a large field of warmbloods at a qualifying event on Saturday 31 January held in Sydney and placed 3rd (with only 1.2 points between 1st and 3rd) in the qualifier held in Canberra.
We are so proud of both Ellie and her rider and trainer, Rebecca Walche.
Our aim with Elli was to qualify and we achieved this. As we have achieved what we set out to do, Elli will now be retired after the Canberra Royal Open Dressage at the end of February and put straight into foal to Galero XIV before going to the well known European Warmblood stallion, Sandro Hit.
Elli is a 4yr old black PRE filly by our old stallion Manuka Diestro out of one of our best broodmares, Caballeriza Marieta.
Elli retires at Elementary level.

These PRE Mares will all begin thier Training as a PRE Cobra, within a few weeks time, it will take many months or much, much longer to complete thier Training as a compatable PRE Cobra. Two of these PRE Mares are Identical in markings and one is pure Black.

Seni Indio, a top 5 winner in Morphology and Movement and overall 3rd place winner in the 4 year old stallion class at SICAB 2008, is represented here in Australia by his daughter, Gallandeer Ridge's chestnut PRE filly "GR-Europa". Europa was imported in-utero with her dam "Amira II", in late 2007. Another chestnut Senillosa bred filly, closely related to Seni Indio, is set to join the stud in 2009 and, with Europa and Amira, will complete a chestnut cobra.
